Two Helper City fire fighters scope out the damage to a car that caught fire across Highway 6 from Ford Falls on Friday afternoon. The call for help came into the department about 3:10 p.m. and when the fire trucks arrived the car was totally engulfed in flames. The driver had pulled the car over onto the parking area and was able to get herself and her passengers out before the flames claimed the car. The cause of the fire was undetermined at press time.
