Goalie Rebecca Rummel makes a stop in the Juan Diego game.

Maybe the rest was a bad thing for the Carbon soccer squad. After rolling over Grantsville, the Dinos had a break before heading to Delta last Wednesday.

This time the team were the ones being rolled over as Delta scored four goals in each half to down the Dinos 8-0.

Back home Friday for a game against region powerhouse Juan Diego, the Dinos struggled again. The team was no match for the talented Bulldogs as they lost 7-1. Down 3-0 in the first half, the Dinos did manage a goal to avoid the shutout in the second half.

The team hosts North Sanpete on Wednesday September 26th at 3:30 on the Carbon High field, behind the school.
