Della Brasher Alger will celebrate her 96th birthday Sept. 25.
She was born in Blanding to Adelbert and Laura Guymon Brown. She is the youngest of six children.
Della is the mother of four children, 20 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-children.
She is a resident of the Emery County Care and Rehab Center in Ferron.
Betty Huff
Betty Huff celebrated her 85th birthday Sept. 14
She was born in Standardville in 1922 and has been a longtime resident of Carbon County. She was married to the late Verl Huff for 60 years.
Lucian Jones
B. Lucian Jones will celebrate his 90th birthday at an open house Sept. 22.
The birthday open house will be presented in his honor from to 6 to 8 p.m. at the Price North LDS Stake Center, 449 North 100 East.
He married Lucille Tilton on June 30, 1941. The couple have four children, Duane Jones, Stewart (Sharon) Jones, Karlene (Dale) Linford and Kristie (George) Motte. They have 11 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

Jennie Merkley
Jennie Merkley recently celebrated her 90th birthday with family and friends.
She was born Sept. 12, 1917 in Duchesne.
She has worked in the lumber industry and hauled coal between Carbon County and Duchesne. She has also worked as a cook and waitress in Clear Creek.
