Local man hits hole-in-one, wins Eastern Utah Golf Tournament

Dennis Pace of Price played in the Aug. 11 and 12 Pepsi Eastern Utah Golf Tournament and stunned the competition.

On hole six of the first day of competition Pace nailed a hole in one the got him going for the second round.

He started the second day in first place but needed three birdies to win as the tournament was coming to a close.

Pace showed nerves of steel coming down the stretch as birdie after birdie found the cup.

He finished in first place keeping the tournament trophy in its hometown.
