Bow hunters use facility to tune up

Bow hunters have been taking great advantage of the new North Springs Shooting Range and Recreation Area. The 3D archery range is getting quite a bit of use as archers have the opportunity to sharpen their skills on the 50 Rhinehart 3D Targets. All the animals including some dinosaurs are placed in natural settings in the Pinion and Juniper trees. Each Target has a bow rack with the distance to the animal marked on it. Archers can rack their bows while they go into the woods to retrieve their arrows. Recently Mike and Troy Barker along with Troy Scott had a wonderful time going through the course.

There are also several targets mounted on bales set at various distances.
