Brittany spaniel adopts, nurtures litter of motherless kittens

Ashkii, an 8-year-old Brittany spaniel, nurses several foster kittens. The dog suffered a false pregnancy shortly before the three-week-old motherless felines were brought home from the animal shelter for hand feeding. Ashkii adopted the cats, cleaning and nursing the tiny babies. The kittens now must be returned to the county animal shelter. The facility is loaded with cats, abandoned kittens and puppies available for adoption. The animal shelter is located south of Price in the industrial park on Utah State Road 10.
