Tree branches lay draped over picnic tables at Washington Park on Wednesday morning after wind whipped eastern Utah overnight. Some areas seemed to have gotten the brunt of the breezes more than others. The park was especially hard hit with large branches crashing down and laying everywhere and lines of garbage can tipped over and dumped despite them being hitched to poles and trees by chains. Carbon County residents also woke up to much cooler temperatures mid-week, but can expect a good warm up by the weekend.
