Price Fire Chief Paul Bedont and a fire fighter shovel dirt on a grass, weed fire that broke on Thursday afternoon. The blaze at 100 North and about 820 East appeared to have been started by a rocket of some sort that landed in dry weeds and ignited. The fire raced toward the north driven by a slight breeze from the south. It was out within a few minutes, however Bedont commented that with the dry conditions, fires can be set off by the slightest spark.
