Randell Heath of Cold Sweep along with John Bird and Reese Barrick examine a newly "ice blasted" piece of bone. According to Heath, dry ice blasting is a non-abrasive process that is suitable for cleaning delicate components. Such a process could prove to be very effective for the paleontology work done here in Eastern Utah. If successful the college plans to acquire their own ice blasting equipment in the future.
