Eastern Utah All-stars, Mont Harmon compete

Mont Harmon Cheerleaders compete at America on Stage.

On May 12 the Eastern Utah All-stars and the Mont Harmon cheerleaders competed in the America on Stage national competition conducted at Lagoon in Farmington.

The junior team placed second overall with Madison Anderson placing first in the solo cheer event. Kaylie Anderson and Madison Palacios placed first in the duet cheer.

The 12 to 16 year old team placed first in the team competition with girls from each team doing a small team routine and placing second.

For Mont Harmon the team took first place with Makayla Greener and Brooke McFarlane placing first in duet cheer. Katy Penry and Ariel Dye placed second in the same competition. Monnica Rich and Andrea Sandoval placed third in the duet cheer. In small team cheer Brianna Blackham, Ariel Dye, Katy Alberts and Monnica Rich placed first.

"The girls have really made me proud as a coach," said team coach Antoinette Powell.
