Carbon County Recreation is currently taking early registration for the upcoming youth tackle football season. This season CCR will add some new helmets, shoulder pads and replace most of the hip, knee and thigh pads along with recertifying all of the existing equipment in use. CCR took over the program in 2004 and since that time has worked to improve the equipment.

This season games will begin in mid-August and will be played on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings.

Each team will play an eight game schedule included in those eight games will be a couple of matches against teams from the Emery County Recreation League. This has become a traditions since CCR took over the program.

An early bird discount of $65 will be offered to anyone who registers on or before May 22. No registration will be taken after June 13. For more information contact Carbon County Recreation at 637-5092.
