The Carbon Dinos set up their offense during an earlier game against Grand. The dinos are tied for second place in region eight play.

Always a 3A powerhouse, Juan Diego is again ranked in the top three again this season. So it is understandable that the Dinos know they have their work cut out for them whenever the two teams meet.

The first face off of the season resulted in a shut out loss for the Dinos, but the boys held a good team to only five scores. In the first half, Carbon was scored on twice. Juan Diego added three in the second period to cement the victory.

Hopefully next week the Carbon scorers will get back on track. Jose Munoz is leading the team in scoring with four goals. Nat Chaijaroen has two and Neema Hekmat has one on the season.

The Dinos are now tied for second place with North Sanpete in region eight play. They will break that tie one way or the other on Wednesday when they head North to play North Sanpete. The team returns home to take on the Delta Rabbits on Friday. Game time for the home game will be at 3:30
