Utah author encourages schoolchildren in Carbon County to read, create

Brandon Mull, who recently released his first novel, "Fablehaven," answers questions at Pinnacle Canyon Academy on Feb. 15. As he passed through Carbon County visiting elementary schools, Mull told students there are two things they can do to increase their imagination abilities. He said the first is to read. The second is to create, whether through art, music, writing or any other creative process. The author also signed copies of his book for students and gave each student a bookmark.
