Price firefighters Janarie Larsen and Richard Laursen use shovels to quell a blaze discovered Feb. 13 by gas field workers north of the Carbon County Airport. The fire was purportedly set by an unidentified individual attempting to burn an old travel trailer by stacking wood around the vehicle Monday night. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, the fire had burned the trailer to the frame. The fire appeared to have occurred on United States Bureau of Land Management property so the federal agency will probably conduct the investigation into the incident.
