Letter to the Editor: Uncaring dog owners

Editor:

I am writing this letter to all uncaring dog owners of Spring Glen.

Since last summer I have lost numerous rabbits, chickens, ducks, etc. to dogs unleashed and running loose. I have three dogs and they are kept in a well fenced in dog run and well taken care of.

I lost the last of my ducks on or about Feb. 6. They were in my yard, not hurting anyone. Since it is impossible to talk to you dog owners who think your dogs have the run of the town, ignoring leash laws, I only have one thing to say to you. I only have a few pigs left since your have killed all my other animals. If I catch your dog or dogs on my property you might as well consider picking them up at the animal shelter.

I would not kill your dog. It is not their fault but it is yours. You should be penned up not them. You do not care for them or you'd watch and take better care of them. How do you sleep at night knowing your dogs are running loose and killing innocent farm animals?

What goes around, comes around.
