Sally Mauro students sit in front of a tree in the schools front lobby that is decorated with mittens donated by students to not only decorate the tree, but to give away during Friday and Saturday's light parade in Helper. Students from the school will be handing out the donated hand warmers to those at the parade with the idea that if people need them to keep warm they can keep them. And if they don't they can pass them along to someone who does. The mitten tree, along with many other activities are part of the yearly Christmas Town of Utah celebration that happens during the last part of November and first week of December.
