Carbon community encouraged to follow students' lead, donate to county food bank

Students at Sally Mauro Elementary load donations into a truck for transport to the Carbon Food Bank. Like Sally Mauro, schools and organizations traditionally conduct food drives during the holiday season to help the less fortunate. But despite the efforts, the shelves at the local food bank frequently become depleted. Residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items to the facility not only during the holiday season, but throughout the entire year. The Carbon County Food Bank is located at 75 East 400 South in Price.
